How Arsenal Can Boost Their Warchest With A Few Budget Squad Signings - Winger
Winger
Arsenal could definitely do with a new winger. Theo Walcott is fantastic, Gnabry is an explosive talent and Oxlade-Chamberlain plays well there. On the left we have Podolski and Santi but neither are great at protecting their full-back so despite having numbers we are lacking a little something. Ryo, could of course, make the step up but he is still looking very raw. It's not a priority position so Arsenal won't be splashing the cash but hopefully these alternatives might be food for thought.
Marc Albrighton - Probably Villa's player of the past few weeks and out of contract in the summer. He is a very strong crosser of the ball and that could be beneficial to Giroud. He has his limitations and his passing is probably a bit weak to work as a starter in this Arsenal team but you have to be confident in the clubs ability to improve his passing like they have every player who has joined from "weaker" teams. If you are in need of a goal or a smash and grab you could throw Marc on and keep shifting the ball to him to whip in crosses for a couple of big strikers (Giroud and Sanogo).

Seb Larsson - Also out of contract in the summer and a player we know well. A "youth" product who has been schooled in our game but also someone who has picked up heaps of experience in more defensive teams. Hard-working, tenacious and an excellent set-piece taker. Same reasons as Albrighton.
